HS RESIDENCE
Interior Project & Construction
Istanbul, 2025
HS Residence was designed with a clear and restrained spatial approach, guided by consistent material choices. Within the project, wet areas were conceived not merely as service spaces, but as integral components of the overall architectural composition. Natural stone surfaces were applied to create a continuous and unified spatial perception, while glass partitions provide visual continuity between volumes. Fixed elements and custom-made bathroom components were positioned as solid architectural features that support the spatial composition.
The washbasin and bathtub were treated as independent objects within the space, maintaining a careful balance between function and form. Detailing was developed with a minimal-intervention approach, with materials and proportions selected to preserve the calm and refined character of the interiors. The lighting concept was shaped through indirect illumination that defines surfaces and enhances spatial depth, resulting in a controlled, serene, and timeless atmosphere within the bathroom spaces.
The project reflects a subtle interior design approach, expressed through material continuity and a high level of detailing rather than overt statement.
